First, the winner of prize drawing #1 (the sweet little cookbook featured HERE) is:
Mary Teschendorf
Congratulations, Mary!!! I’ll be mailing the prizes out together next week (in case you win multiple drawings). As a reminder to everyone, prize drawing #2 will remain open until tomorrow morning so be sure to get your comment added before then!
Prize drawing #3 is the pretty pink journal featured below:
I picked it up last week while visiting Mara-Mi in Stillwater, Minnesota (click HERE for their website). To enter the drawing, just add a comment to this post sharing one of your favorite little shopping spots – online or otherwise. A winner for this drawing will be chosen [and posted] later this week!

What a fun shop! I will definitely be checking it out next time I am in the area. I thought the botanical purse journals were super cute. Perfect for jotting down notes, etc. while on the go!
I love little shops like Patina and Bibelot shop, it is so fun to get lost in those stores!
I really enjoy looking through Etsy to find all the people far more creative than me and the wonderful products they have made. I purchased a camera bag through one of the shops and am incredibly happy with it = )
I have been doing a lot of shopping at the various thrift stores around town. My favorites are Unique, Savers and the Arc. Goodwill has some nice things once in a while. It’s fun to repurpose furniture and stuff.
My favorite place to go shopping is a knitting shop called The Knotty Grandma. It’s ran by this amazing lady who can knit and crochet anything and is always happy (and patient) to teach me new stitches. I love her and I love her place!
Blue Bamboo Quilting Shop near Plymouth, MN. I’m not sure exactly which city it’s in, but it’s just a neat hole in the wall shop with the most amazing quilting ladies working there, and a HUGE selection of beautiful fabrics.
Favorite shopping spot? EBay!
I recently found a little boutique shop in my area (Andover) called Artistic Treasures. I love it! I’ve been buying up tons of great scarves and the owner is a very nice lady. We usually chat for about 15 mins everytime I go in. Supporting local small businesses is such a great way to give back to the community.
Hi Tina…very cute, fun store – it would be fun to visit. I love to brouse/shop at Turnstyle consignment and a few of the Thrift stores — Bibles for Missions, Savers, ARC…I love, love a good deal! The other place I’ve ‘discovered’ in Bloomington – is Bloomington Drug Store. It’s like a sophisticated Ben Franklin with everything including it’s own little post office and a ‘girls night out’ personalized shopping spree where they close the store on a Sat night for you & 12 of your closest friends.
Did I say I LOVE journals, especially pretty pink ones! :0)
Blessings on your day ~ Jodie
