Believe it or not, it’s [well after] noon I am still unpacking from our Winter Weekend Scrapbooking Retreat after returning home last night. As usual, I left feeling inspired and lifted after filling up on good food and great conversation.
A soul refill.
One of the gals commented on how much she looks forward to the escape… but then once she is there working through family pics, begins longing for home. That is EXACTLY why I love scrapbooking; it allows me to view my life from a different perspective, making me more intentional about the way I live and helping me truly appreciate what I have.
The only bummer is that returned home with more than a fresh perspective, but a cold as well. ![]()
So today it’s back to reality. I am s-l-o-w-l-y reacclimating to life without Glimmer Mist, pumpkin cheesecake w/rum sauce, Susan bumping my chair, sleeping in until 10:00 am, and Christmas tunes playing 12+ hours a day. Thank you again ladies for making it such a memorable weekend!
[Our next weekend retreat will take place March 22-24, 2013 - registration information will be posted shortly after the holidays.]
