These two lovely ladies [sisters] arrived on Saturday with DSLR cameras in tow.
While I had met both of them before, it was fun to connect in a more personal setting. Not only do I share bits and pieces of my story at the Everyday Photographer Workshop…
I pick up bits and pieces of their stories as well!
Which is one of my favorite parts of the day! We talked about everything from camera care to lighting and composition.
I gave them all sorts of ideas for showcasing their artwork. And taught them both how to shoot in full-on manual mode!
There were lots of treats on hand to not only photograph, but enjoy!
And when the day ended, I realized it filled me in more ways than one.
I was reminded yet again that life is precious. It’s easy to lose perspective at times, of the things and people that matter most. (Time passes so quickly when our days are full!) Photography gives each one of us the opportunity to capture and create a legacy. To remember a moment in time long after it has passed.
Be sure to capture those moments!
Love this post! Made my heart smile. Three ladies I certainly look up to, admire, and find to be so selfless and inspiring!
Such sweet words, Kelli.
