I spent the weekend with family in Colorado celebrating the marriage of two lovely souls.
And it was the most beautiful thing ever. So many touching stories about their relationship that not only revealed much about the two of them but their friends and families as well.
Throughout the weekend, I repeatedly heard about their love for the Lord and each other. About their shared passion for adventure. About their impact on the lives of those around them.
And I loved every single second of it!
The details of the wedding and reception were stunning.
Down to the hummingbird that found its way to our centerpiece. 😉
And as if all that weren’t enough, they even had a PUMPKIN SPICE (w/caramel filling) tier in their wedding cake! Apparently, the groom is into ALL THINGS PUMPKIN evidenced not only by the cake but beverage selection as well. [Note my pumpkin beer in the centerpiece image above.]
So much fun! There was also the rehearsal dinner at Maggianno’s Little Italy, time spent with aunts and uncles, trekking around the Denver area [with my folks, Jerry & Vinnie], breakfast at Toast and Snooze (Tony would have LOVED both places), seeing the Rocky Mountains from my room, loads of laughter and great stories.
Plus I had the chance to spend time with one of my favorite people, the mother of the bride.
And I was reminded once again of how much we have in common; it seems that whenever we connect God has us running parallel to each other in some fashion. 😀
A wonderful, wonderful whirlwind weekend in Denver.
