Heavy snow is in the forecast for this weekend… it’s time to move where the big bugs are.
Several months ago, The Prospects permanently moved their practices into Le Basement Studios. With Matt’s recent diagnosis and conflicting schedules, this was the first full band rehearsal in weeks:
Check them out yourself on Saturday, March 16 at Carbone’s for their annual St. Patrick’s Day bash!
In case you hadn’t noticed, I have a thing for collages.
So when some friends of ours asked for help filling one of their walls, I was happy to oblige.
Especially when the pot was seasoned with the suggestion of a talent swap: my help with their wall in exchange for a new dining room tabletop.
Both projects are still in the early stages but I’ll be sure to share bits and pieces along the way!
I just realized I never shared these images.
From the night Emilio hopped up on stage to sing a FOO cover (Black Friday).
The weather has me feeling trapped. I have had enough of the icy roads, bitter cold & gray skies. I miss neighborhood walks, feeling warm (my Raynaud’s is in high gear), colors, driving with the windows open, sitting on our deck, sunlight, and snowbank-free living. I am in a rut & think I need to spend some time in the kitchen… in case you hadn’t heard, whipping up a few summertime recipes is a sure-fire cure for winter blahs (this Blueberry & Mango Spinach Salad sounds absolutely delicious as does this Blueberry Chicken Salad – both on this week’s dinner menu).
