I can’t believe tomorrow is the first of June.
Doesn’t really look like it around here. My parents’ pool cover is broken.
Not that it really matters with the rain. And freezing cold temps.
Instead of cooking burgers on the grill, we hunkered down with hot beef, cheese dip and PMS bars last weekend.
Not necessarily bad, but not what I would call summer either.
More like a very late spring. The good news…
Tony and I have our front porch back now that momma duck and her babies have departed. And…
We have rhubarb. Lots of it. And I’ve been baking up a storm.
Because if I can’t have summer outside, I can certainly make it happen in our kitchen. (I’ll be posting recipes soon!)
