Watching: Our family had our first Star Wars Movie Night with Tilly’s family! (We started at the “beginning” with Episode 1: Phantom Menace and Episode 2: Attack of the Clones.) I thought it would be a fun excuse to use the Darth Vader pan I purchased for my nephew’s birthday to create a different treat for each movie night. The first (pictured above) was a pan of butterscotch Rice Krispies treats covered with white chocolate & sprinkles. The next? A big ole’ SECRET!
Anticipating: I cannot wait for the Winter Weekend Scrapbooking Retreat just around the corner!!! My personal stash is now completely and totally organized for the first time in years – photos and scrapbooking supplies. I have also marked down my remaining Creative Memories inventory in the hopes of leaving the retreat a little lighter. Looking forward to some time with the ladies. 😀
Sipping: Hot chocolate spiked with a little whipped cream vodka and a candy cane to mix it all up.
Working on: I have decided to create another December Daily album (the last time was back in 2009) and am using THIS KIT by Studio Calico which includes an album and ton of coordinating embellishments. The goal is to create a page (or page spread) for each day leading up to Christmas, incorporating traditions and everyday moments during the month of December. I have been working on the cover and mocking up temporary pages. My plan is to take several pictures each day and order prints each week. I can’t wait to get started!
Loving: Emily’s White Chocolate Gingerbread Fortune Cookies. You will find them at World Market.
Learning: Just started a new bible study by Priscilla Shirer called Gideon: Your Weakness, God’s Strength. [You can check it out for yourself by clicking HERE.] It has been a fresh reminder of Who I am living my life for.
Thanks to Sometimes Sweet for the “currently” inspiration!
