Lori, a longtime scrapbooking friend, attended the Everyday Photographer Workshop last year. She had been feeling challenged by some difficult lighting conditions and asked if I could give her a few tips.
Like Mary, she was part of the first group of ladies to go through the workshop and had not received instruction on shooting in manual mode. I suggested we meet for coffee where we could talk about some of the lighting challenges and told her I would also provide a hands-on lesson in using manual mode.
She had been dabbling a bit in manual mode so I helped “connect the dots” so to speak. She caught on so quickly we spent most of our time catching up on life. Very, very fun. The best part? I left with a special handmade gift:
My first ever infinity scarf! Love it. Thank you so much, Lori. 😀
