I posted half as much as usual this month which means much that much of what happened never even made blog news. Here’s what was missed:
Multiple trips here and there for band lessons and tennis (both boys). I purchased a stand mixer! Made a half dozen trips to the library this month and read at least that many books. [Filling up the well, so to speak.] Made my first-ever loaf of yeast bread from scratch! Tried a new recipe for banana scones. Attended a Community Education class. Explored the Target store in Downtown Minneapolis. Had the niece and nephew over for a sleepover. Both lost and found my favorite travel coffee mug. Purchased my most expensive bottle of wine ever (a whole $18). I went to Patty’s house to walk her through Lightroom (always fun talking about photography and family). A kid-free night with my husband that consisted of Dickey’s BBQ & a Homeland Season 2 Marathon. I made a loaf of pumpkin bread with Nutella swirled inside. Broke out the nogsicles for several rounds of Eggnog Chai Lattes. Our family spent Sundays device-free until 7 pm. I made the most delicious ever Lemon Crunch Bars for Easter. And Raspberry Pretzel Jello Salad. It snowed. I booked a wedding for 2015. And attended a college prep meeting for our son! We attended a band concert. And went to see Captain America. Playdates with the munchkins. A good month.
And here’s what made it:
=> I hosted my last Everyday Photographer Workshop for the year and met with one of last year’s graduates.
=> I ordered some new artwork for our home.
Thanks for stopping by!
