Before Dreamer Girl 2020 took place in February, I was already working on the next girl-themed crafting retreat: Strong Girl 2021. Part of the planning involves immersing myself in the theme, soaking up information to pass along to the women who attend. It is always my hope they will leave inspired and encouraged to press on.
While preparing for Strong Girl in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, it hit me that everyone could use a bit of inspiration and encouragement right now. So I thought I would share what I am learning in a series of blog posts. Specifically focusing on what it means to be a Strong Girl. I began research as I usually do, with a dictionary to define STRONG:
Having the power to move heavy weights or perform other physically demanding tasks. Able to withstand great force or pressure. [Synonyms include: secure, tough, brave, tenacious, committed & determined.]
Then I made a list of qualities & characteristics I believe capture the essence of what it means to be a Strong Girl. Each blog post in the series will focus on one thing from the list.
I hope you will join me on this journey.
